ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a series of public meetings on Tuesday, December 5, Wednesday, December 6, and Thursday, December 7, 2023, regarding the Sunshine Corridor. A Transit Concept and Alternatives Review (TCAR) Study is being conducted to evaluate options for the expansion of SunRail commuter rail service from the existing SunRail corridor to the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and to the Orange County Convention Center and South International Drive areas.

The Department is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the meetings. All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information.

In-Person Open House Options: Participants may attend in person on the following days to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions. If attending in person, please remember to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines. If you are feeling unwell, please consider attending the meeting virtually or by phone.
