ORLANDO, Fla. – Motorists are advised of an upcoming road closure on West Michigan Street in Orlando near the railroad crossing from 9 p.m. Friday, March 31, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, April 4. This closure is required for railroad maintenance along the SunRail corridor. 

The following detours will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone:

• Motorists heading westbound on Michigan Street will be directed to turn right onto Orange Avenue, left onto West Kaley Street and left onto South Division Avenue before returning to West Michigan Street.

• Motorists heading eastbound on Michigan Street will be directed to turn left onto South Division Avenue, right on West Kaley Street and right onto Orange Avenue before returning to West Michigan Street.

All schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Please remember to exercise caution around trains and railroad crossings by keeping off the tracks and obeying all signs and signals. Be smart. Be safe.
