Update: Detour Cancelled on Northeast 36th Avenue in Ocala

Ocala, Fla. An upcoming detour scheduled Friday, Jan. 17 in Ocala is cancelled. Construction crews will perform the work without the need of a road closure. The daytime detour was planned along Northeast 36th Avenue between Northeast 21st Street and Northeast 24th Street in Ocala

FDOT urges all drivers to stay alert and use caution while driving through or near construction zones. When driving, walking, or bicycling, remember to pay attention and follow the rules. Safety doesn't happen by accident.
