I-4 Eastbound Off Ramp to U.S. 17/92 Closure and Detour
Seminole County Motorists traveling Interstate 4 (I-4) are advised the eastbound off ramp to U.S. 17/92 in Sanford is expected to be closed from about 10 p.m. Monday, July 2, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 3. The closure is needed to install light poles.
Drivers that use this ramp should exit I-4 eastbound at Exit 101C and take State Road (S.R.) 46 and Monroe Road as a detour back to U.S. 17/92. Electronic message boards and other signage will be used to direct motorists.
The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to install new lighting at several interchanges along I-4 in Seminole and Volusia counties.
Please note the closures may be rescheduled due to inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Updates will be available on the Florida Department of Transportation's Central Florida website, http://www.CFLRoads.com.
Media inquiries should be directed to the FDOT Communications Office at 386-943-5473 or d5-pio@dot.state.fl.us.
FDOT advises drivers to slow down and use extra caution in construction zones.
