Overnight I-4 traffic detoured at Maitland Boulevard Nov. 15-18
ORLANDO - All traffic on eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) will temporarily divert through the Maitland Boulevard (State Road 414) interchange from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m., November 15-18.
Traffic will exit I-4 to eastbound Maitland Boulevard (Exit 90A), cross over Maitland Boulevard and enter back onto eastbound I-4 using the existing on-ramp. Law enforcement officers will be present on Maitland Boulevard to facilitate traffic flow. A detour map is available online to download or view at: http://fdot.tips/EBI4divert
The eastbound I-4 exit loop ramp to westbound Maitland Boulevard (Exit 90B) will also close at the same time to accommodate bridge demolition. A detour map is available online to download or view at: http://fdot.tips/EBI4divert
Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
The I-4 Ultimate project is rebuilding 21 miles of Interstate 4 (I-4) from west of Kirkman Road in Orange County to east of State Road 434 in Seminole County, adding two new dynamic tolled Express Lanes in each direction, replacing more than 140 bridges, reconfiguring 15 major interchanges and reconstructing the entire roadway.
