About
This design-build project will widen 7.6 miles of Interstate 75 (I-75) in Sumter County. Other aspects of the project include a complete reconstruction of the interchange at County Road (C.R.) 470, including C.R. 475 from south of the I-75 ramps to C.R. 470. There will be upgrades to the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), new bridges, signing and pavement markings, signalization and other miscellaneous corrections and additions.
Lane Closures
  • Thursday, April 26th, 2018 to Friday, April 27th, 2018

    8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    Southbound Exit 321 (County Road 470) off ramp closure. Detour will be in effect. To access C.R 470, traffic will be directed to continue south to Exit 314 and re-enter I-75 northbound to use the northbound off ramp at Exit 321.

  • Friday, April 27th, 2018 to Saturday, April 28th, 2018

    8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    Southbound I-75 on-ramp at County Road (C.R.) 470 will be closed. Detour will be in effect. To access southbound I-75, traffic will be directed to travel south on C.R. 475, then west on State Road 48 to Exit 314.

  • Sunday, April 29th, 2018 to Monday, April 30th, 2018

    8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    Two ramp closures are scheduled. The following detours will be in effect:

    County (C.R.) 470 traffic needing to travel north on I-75 will be directed to continue east on C.R. 470 and take U.S. 301 north to the Florida's Turnpike on-ramp. Florida's Turnpike will then merge onto I-75 North.

    Northbound I-75 traffic needing to travel west on C.R. 470 will be directed to continue north to Exit 329 and re-enter I-75 southbound to use the southbound off-ramp at Exit 321.
