Detour at U.S. 17/92 and Silkwood Court in Longwood Tonight through Monday Morning

Seminole County Motorists traveling along northbound U.S. 17/92 and want to access North Ronald Regan Boulevard/County Road (C.R.) 427 will need to detour at Silkwood Court tonight through Monday, Feb.19. The detour is necessary for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to install concrete pavement at North Ronald Regan Boulevard and U.S. 17/92.

Work will be on-going starting at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 to about 6:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19. To accommodate traffic on Friday night, only the left turn lane and the two northbound U.S. 17/92 thru lanes at North Ronald Regan Boulevard will be closed, while the right turn lane will also serve as a thru lane.

The work is part of FDOT's project to widen U.S. 17/92 from four to six lanes from Shepard Road to Lake Mary Boulevard.

Please note construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Project updates will be posted to FDOT's Central Florida website, www.cflroads.com, or visit the project page directly.
