This median modification project addresses operational and safety concerns on State Road (S.R.) 464/Maricamp Road at Southeast (SE) 53rd Avenue/RotarySportsplex in Marion County. Work will include converting the full median opening at SE 53rd Avenue to a directional median opening, closing the median at the Ocala Birth Center driveway and extending the left turn lane into the Dunkin' Donuts/Skate Mania driveway. These modifications reduce traffic conflict points and separates turning movements along this section of S.R. 464/Maricamp Road, improving safety.
