The purpose of the project is to enhance safety and mobility along this section of Main Street (U.S. 301/State Road 35) in Wildwood, Sumter County. The first phase of the project is to develop two alternatives along the corridor. Goals of the Complete Streets effort are to enhance corridor aesthetics, provide new pedestrian crossings, calm traffic and provide additional parking.
