About

The purpose of this project is to enhance pedestrian safety along Fiske Boulevard (State Road (S.R.) 519) from Barbara Jenkins Street to King Street (S.R. 520). Planned improvements include adding a midblock pedestrian crossing north of Barbara Jenkins Street. The crossing would include a median refuge area and be equipped with pedestrian activated signals.

The project also proposes to widen the northbound right turn lane to accommodate a bicycle through lane at Stone Street. Upgrades to existing traffic signals and pedestrian crossings are also proposed.
