The purpose of this project is to mill and resurface the roadway, from east of State Road (S.R.) 44 to south of Lincoln Avenue. In addition, some turn lanes will be extended, paved shoulders and pedestrian lighting will be added at various locations, and medians will be modified.

Improvements also include drainage modifications, traffic signal timing adjustments and modifying sidewalks to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
