The purpose of this project is to extend the life of the existing roadway by repaving Montreal Avenue from U.S. 1 to Pineapple Avenue and improve pedestrian and bicycle safety along the corridor.  Proposed design elements include adding landscaped curb extensions, removing six on-street parking spaces from the outside right lane, adding 11 on-street-parking spaces to the inside left lane, adding a 7-foot-wide buffered bike lane, and modifying existing sidewalks.
