About

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is adding traffic signals and reconstructing the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Fredrica Drive in Orlando. The new signals will be a mast arm system where traffic signal heads are mounted on a rigid arm that extends over the roadway.

The project will also add a new eastbound left turn lane and extend the existing westbound left turn lane to increase vehicle capacity. Driveways on the north side of Curry Ford Road will be reconstructed; however, access to any affected businesses/residences will be maintained. Additionally, new curb ramps will be constructed along with improvements to the existing curb ramps.
