The goal of this project is to increase pedestrian safety at specific signalized intersections by installing street lighting that offers better visibility. Light Emitting Diode (LED) fixtures will be installed at each intersection, and any existing fixtures will be converted to LED. No other intersection improvements are expected in this project. The project will improve the following 18 intersections: 

• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at I-4 WB Off Ramp
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at International Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at t Universal Boulevard
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Greenbriar Parkway
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Mandarin Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Kingspointe Parkway
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at John Young Parkway
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Presidents Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Chancellor Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Lilwill Avenue
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Skyview Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Golden Sky Lane
• Sand Lake/McCoy Rd at Voltaire Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Winegard Road
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Sunport Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Orange Avenue
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Gondola Drive
• Sand Lake/McCoy Road at Lindos Drive 

FDOT has completed the design phase of this project. Local utility companies are completing the required work.
