The purpose of this project is to construct a multi-use path that will travel along South Palmetto Avenue from Ridge Boulevard to Beville Road in the cities of South Daytona and Daytona Beach in Volusia County. The need for this project is system linkage. This is one segment of a much larger tail project, once the entire trail is complete, the trail would connect the cities of Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, Port Orange, South Daytona, Daytona Beach and parts of unincorporated Volusia County.
