This project calls for the milling and resurfacing of nearly 5 miles of Interstate 4 (I-4) from west of Saxon Boulevard to east of State Road (S.R.) 472 in Volusia County, including the ramps and shoulders at the Saxon Boulevard and S.R. 472 interchanges.
Other improvements are replacement of existing curb cut ramps, resetting guardrail, correcting shoulder deterioration at the interchanges, placement of rumble strips and pavement markings.
Additionally, the project will be completed in conjunction with project 441070-1, which includes interchange improvements at Saxon Boulevard, including realignment of the I-4 eastbound off ramp and widening on Saxon Boulevard.

Sunday, single and double lane closures on eastbound I-4 between S.R. 472 and the Cassadaga Road overpass to install loop detection for traffic monitoring. Single lane closures are expected from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., while double lane closures may occur from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Westbound I-4 off ramp to eastbound Saxon Boulevard closed nightly, Monday - Wednesday, 10 p.m. - 6 a.m. to install guardrail. Traffic will be directed to exit onto Dirksen Drive (Exit 108) and return to Saxon Boulevard using eastbound I-4.
Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., single inside lane closure on eastbound I-4 at Saxon Boulevard for pier protection work.
