The project also includes the paving of street approaches on S.R. 33 and miscellaneous drainage improvements. The approaches will match the existing roadway while the bridge is expected to have a 12-foot travel lane and 10-foot paved shoulder in each direction. This project has been combined with project 436127-1, which involves constructing a southbound left turn lane on S.R. 33 to County Road (C.R.) 561.

Wednesday, April 1st, 2020 to Tuesday, April 7th, 2020
On Wednesday, April 1, temporary traffic signals will be activated on State Road (S.R.) 33 at the Green Swamp Bridge in Clermont.
The signals will undergo testing and flash yellow before being fully activated next week to control one-way traffic over the current bridge. Please expect some travel delays in this area.
When the signal is green for northbound S.R. 33 traffic, they may cross the bridge until the signal turns red. When the signal is green for southbound S.R. 33 traffic, they may cross the bridge until the signal turns red. Both directions of traffic cannot cross the bridge at the same time.
The new traffic pattern is necessary to start construction on the one-lane, temporary detour bridge that will be built along S.R. 33, adjacent to the current bridge.
