Work will also include: clearing land, realigning NE 24th and NE 25th streets, ponds, new turn lanes at multiple locations, bicycle lanes, sidewalks, 20-foot-wide grassed medians and concrete medians near the bridges, drainage, lighting and signalization improvements, various pedestrian features to comply with the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, and updated signage and pavement markings.
Lane closures and detours can be expected. Work is planned to start on Monday, September 23. Work activities will begin with land clearing and utility relocations.
