Work to be done includes pavement widening, drainage systems improvements, bridge widening, bridge replacement, retaining walls, highway lighting, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) modifications, median barriers, signing and pavement markings, signalization, milling, and resurfacing.
This project reconstructs the I-95 interchange leading to and from I-4 and U.S. 92, which will increase mobility and connectivity. It will also increase safety for merging, exiting and through-traffic. The project will eliminate a left-side merge ramp onto I-95 from U.S. 92, just a short distance to the south. Additional lanes will be constructed along I-95 allowing vehicles traveling through the area to continue in dedicated lanes, and vehicles entering and exiting I-95 to be separated into dedicated entrance and exit lanes.

I-95 southbound to S.R. 400/Beville Road eastbound ramp closure: 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, through 6 a.m. Thursday, August 9. This is a continuous closure. Traffic will be directed to exit at U.S. 92 eastbound and take Williamson Boulevard south to Beville Road. The I-95 southbound ramp to I-4 will be open.
Sunday - Saturday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. - 6 a.m., I-95 northbound and southbound lane closures from U.S. 92 to south of I-4.
I-4 closure Monday (and Tuesday if needed), 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., I-4 closed in both directions near the Tomoka Farms Road bridge. Eastbound traffic should exit at U.S. 92 (Exit 129) and take U.S. 92 east to I-95 or Williamson Boulevard. I-4 westbound traffic will take I-95 north to U.S. 92 west to the I-4 ramp.
I-4 eastbound closure Tuesday & Wednesday (and Thursday if needed), 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., I-4 eastbound will be closed east of U.S. 92 (Exit 129) Traffic will exit onto U.S. 92 and continue east.
