Work to be done includes pavement widening, drainage systems improvements, bridge widening, bridge replacement, retaining walls, highway lighting, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) modifications, median barriers, signing and pavement markings, signalization, milling, and resurfacing.
This project reconstructs the I-95 interchange leading to and from I-4 and U.S. 92, which will increase mobility and connectivity. It will also increase safety for merging, exiting and through-traffic. The project will eliminate a left-side merge ramp onto I-95 from U.S. 92, just a short distance to the south. Additional lanes will be constructed along I-95 allowing vehicles traveling through the area to continue in dedicated lanes, and vehicles entering and exiting I-95 to be separated into dedicated entrance and exit lanes.

Sunday - Saturday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. - 6 a.m., I-95 northbound & southbound lane closures from U.S. 92 to south of I-4.
Sunday - Monday, 9 p.m. - 6 a.m., U.S. 92 eastbound and westbound miscellaneous lane closures.
I-4 westbound closure Monday, 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., I-4 westbound will be closed at I-95. Traffic will be directed to use either I-95 north or Williamson Boulevard north to U.S. 92 westbound to the I-4 westbound entrance ramp.
I-4 nightly closure Tuesday - Thursday, 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., all lanes of I-4 will be closed near the I-95 interchange. Eastbound traffic will be directed to take the exit for U.S. 92 eastbound. Westbound traffic will be directed to U.S. 92 westbound to the I-4 westbound entrance ramp.
