Feedback Sought on Orange Blossom Trail Sidewalk Reconstruction Plans

Public Information Meeting Set for March 12

 

Orlando, Fla. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting a public information meeting regarding plans to replace and improve the sidewalk along Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441) between 30th Street and Gore Street in Orlando. The meeting is on Thursday, March 12, from 5 p.m. to
7 p.m. at Holden Heights Community Center, 1201 20th St., Orlando.

The project improves safety along the corridor and involves sidewalk reconstruction that includes inserting decorative pavers, enhancing the curb markings, improving pedestrian lighting, and adding new mast arm traffic signal poles at Michigan and Grand streets.

The meeting will be an open house format, where attendees can come anytime to view project displays and a looping video presentation.  Project team members also will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
