Nighttime Lane Closures on I-75 Near S.R. 326 and C.R. 318

Marion County, Fla. Those traveling Interstate 75 (I-75) through Marion County at night during the week of October 14, should be alert to single and double lane closures both north and southbound in the area of State Road (S.R.) 326 (Exit 358), which is just north of Ocala. All lane closures will occur between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for work installing signs over the travel lanes.

The lane closure schedule is planned as follows:

  • Monday, Oct. 14: Northbound right lane closure beginning about 2 miles prior to exit 358 for S.R. 326 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 15: Northbound right and center lane closure beginning about 2 miles prior to Exit 368 for County Road (C.R.) 318. The right lane will close at 8 p.m. followed by the center lane closure at 10 p.m. Both lanes will open by 6 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 16: Southbound right and center lane closure beginning about 2 miles prior to Exit 368 for C.R. 318. The right lane will close at 8 p.m. followed by the center lane closure at 10 p.m. Both lanes will open by 6 a.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 17: Southbound right lane closure beginning about 1 miles prior to exit 358 for S.R. 326 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) statewide intelligent transportation system (ITS) initiative. This project will install dynamic message signs (DMS) along I-75 in Marion County prior to the exits for S.R. 326 (Exit 358) and C. R. 318 (Exit 368) in both north and southbound directions.

Please note that construction schedules may change due to weather or other circumstances. Electronic message boards will be used to alert and direct drivers around the lane closures.

Media inquiries should be directed to the FDOT Communications Office at FDOT-D5COMM@dot.state.fl.us or by phone at 386-943-5479. Project information is also available online at www.CFLRoads.com.
