Babcock Street Corridor Planning Study Kickoff Workshop

Brevard County, Fla. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding the first of two public involvement workshops as part of the Babcock Street (State Road (S.R.) 507) Corridor Planning Study in Brevard County. The workshop will be held Tuesday, April 16, at the Melbourne City Hall located at 900 E. Strawbridge Ave., from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

 

The study, which is the first phase in the transportation development process, is evaluating current multimodal conditions, and other needs and possible enhancements along Babcock Street (S.R. 507) from Palm Bay Road to New Haven Avenue (U.S. 192), a distance of approximately 3 miles.

 

The purpose of this public kickoff workshop is to present initial findings related to existing and future conditions and receive input from interested stakeholders. Study team members will be available to discuss the study and to answer any questions you may have. Participants may provide public comment at any time. Written comments may also be submitted during the meeting or by mail.
