Nightly Closures Continue for New S.R. 408 Flyover Ramp

Orlando - Motorists should be alert to continuing work on the new westbound State Road (S.R.) 408 flyover ramp to westbound Interstate 4 (I-4). For the safety of the motoring public, and the construction workers, nightly closures are required.

Following is the planned schedule and posted detours. Please note the schedule is dependent on weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Friday, Jan. 4, through Saturday, Jan. 5:

• Closure of westbound (WB) S.R. 408 between Orange and Parramore avenues from midnight to 6 a.m.
• Traffic will be directed to take Rosalind Avenue (Exit 11A), to South Street, to Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 17-92/441) back to WB S.R. 408.
• Closure of the WB S.R. 408 off ramp to WB I-4 (Exit 10A) from midnight to 6 a.m.
• Traffic will be directed to take Rosalind Avenue (Exit 11A), to South Street, to Orange Avenue, to Kaley Avenue to enter WB I-4.

Saturday, Jan. 5 through Sunday, Jan. 6:

• Closure of WB S.R. 408 between Orange and Parramore avenues from midnight to 6 a.m.
• Traffic will be directed to take Rosalind Avenue (Exit 11A), to South Street, to Orange Blossom Trail back to WB S.R. 408.
• Closure of eastbound (EB) S.R. 408 between Parramore and Orange avenues from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.
• Traffic will be directed to take Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 9), to Kaley Avenue, to Orange Avenue, to Anderson Street back to EB S.R. 408.
• Closure of WB S.R. 408 off ramp to WB I-4 (Exit 10A) from midnight to 6 a.m.
• Traffic will be directed to take Rosalind Avenue (Exit 11A), to South Street, to Orange Avenue, to Kaley Avenue to enter westbound I-4.
• Closure of all I-4 off ramps to S.R. 408 from midnight to 6 a.m.
• Traffic on EB I-4 heading to WB S.R. 408 will be directed to take South Street (Exit 82B), to Orange Blossom Trail to enter WB S.R. 408.
• Traffic on EB I-4 heading to EB S.R. 408 will be directed to take South Street (Exit 82B), to Orange Avenue, to Anderson Street to enter EB S.R. 408.
• Traffic on WB I-4 heading to WB S.R. 408 will be directed to take Anderson Street (Exit 82B), to Division Avenue, to South Street, to Orange Blossom Trail to enter WB S.R. 408.
• Traffic on WB I-4 heading to EB S.R. 408 will be directed to take Anderson Street (Exit 82B), to enter EB S.R. 408.
• Closure of the EB S.R. 408 off ramp to EB I-4 (Exit 10B) from midnight to 6 a.m.
• Traffic will be directed to Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 9), to Kaley Avenue, to Orange Avenue, continue on Rosalind Avenue and then Magnolia Avenue, to enter EB I-4.

Monday, Jan. 7, through Tuesday, January 8:

         Closure of EB S.R. 408 between Parramore and Orange avenues from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Traffic will be directed to take Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 9), to Kaley Avenue, to Orange Avenue, to Anderson Street back to EB S.R. 408.

         Closure of all I-4 off ramps to S.R. 408 from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

• Traffic on EB I-4 heading to WB S.R. 408 will be directed to take South Street (Exit 82B), to Orange Blossom Trail to enter WB S.R. 408.
• Traffic on EB I-4 heading to EB S.R. 408 will be directed to take South Street (Exit 82B), to Orange Avenue, to Anderson Street to enter EB S.R. 408.
• Traffic on WB I-4 heading to WB S.R. 408 will be directed to take Anderson Street (Exit 82B), to Division Avenue, to South Street, to Orange Blossom Trail to enter WB S.R. 408.
• Traffic on WB I-4 heading to EB S.R. 408 will be directed to take Anderson Street (Exit 82B), to enter EB S.R. 408.

         Closure of EB S.R. 408 off ramp to EB I-4 (Exit 10B) from midnight to 5 a.m.

• Traffic will be directed to Orange Blossom Trail (Exit 9), to Kaley Avenue, to Orange Avenue, continue on Rosalind Avenue and then Magnolia Avenue, to enter EB I-4.
