SunRail Train Activity This Weekend

Quiet Zone Testing Underway

City of Edgewood, Orange County Drivers and passersby can expect to see SunRail train activity this weekend on the railroad tracks between the south end of Orlando and Sand Lake Road SunRail Station. SunRail is performing testing related to the implementation of future quiet zones for the City of Edgewood. This testing is occurring over approximately a 4-mile section. Testing could occur on either track and is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 30. The testing time will last for approximately four hours during the afternoon. Railroad crossings where testing is occurring:

• Holden Avenue
• Jamaica Avenue
• Stratemeyer Road
• Mary Jess Road
