Orlando - Eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) between Maitland Boulevard/State Road 414 and State Road (S.R.) 436 is closing at midnight on September 10, 11 and 12 and reopening at 5 a.m. to safely demolish the old Wymore Bridge overpass.

Motorists seeking to continue eastbound on I-4 will be diverted onto westbound Maitland Boulevard via Exit 90B and will follow signage to re-enter eastbound I-4 from S.R. 436.

Eastbound I-4 entrance and exit ramps at the Maitland Boulevard and S.R. 436 interchanges also will close at 10 p.m. the nights preceding the interstate closures and reopen at 5 a.m. to accommodate the operation.

Several nights of westbound I-4 closures are scheduled following the conclusion of the eastbound I-4 closures to complete the remainder of the overpass demolition.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
