Detours on S.R. 5A/Nova Road at Railroad Crossing

Ormond Beach Motorists will encounter detours on State Road (S.R.) 5A (Nova Road) at the railroad crossing just west of U.S. 1 (Ridgewood Avenue) in Ormond Beach beginning at about 6 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 12 until about 6 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15 for reconstruction work at the railroad crossing.

Traffic will be detoured to S.R. 40 (Granada Boulevard) and Ridgewood Avenue.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is providing project support to Florida East Coast Railway, LLC., so they can safely conduct the work.

Motorists should be alert for construction personnel and equipment along the construction corridor. Motorists are urged to use caution and drive with care.

The FDOT reminds motorists to slow down and alertly drive through construction areas.
