Project Description: Evaluate a multi-use trail along State Road (S.R.) 19 from C.R. 450 (Bulldog Lane) to S.R. 40 and the planned Black Bear Scenic Trail.

The FDOT is conducting a Corridor Planning Study to assess alternative alignments for a multi-use trail from C.R. 450 in the City of Umatilla to S.R. 40, approximately 19 miles. The corridor is anticipated to follow S.R. 19, though potential alternative paths will also be evaluated.

This first Project Visioning Team (PVT) meeting will be a kick-off meeting for the study where the project team will provide a brief overview of the purpose of the project, discuss the existing and future conditions and begin to identify alternatives for further evaluation.

The PVT is an advisory group (not an independent decision-making board) that will assist FDOT and the consultant team by providing jurisdictional, policy, technical, and administrative guidance throughout the project. Your interest in this study is truly valued and appreciated. This is a working meeting with FDOT staff and PVT members, which is open to the public. Comment cards will be provided for any questions and comments regarding this study, otherwise you may contact the study team before or after the meeting.
