Eastbound I-4 Exit Ramps to Amelia Street

and South Street Closing Weekend of May 4

ORLANDO - Two eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) ramps near the I-4 and State Road (S.R.) 408 interchange are closing for extended period of time the weekend of May 4.

The eastbound I-4 exit ramp to Amelia Street (Exit 83A) is closing at 10 p.m. on May 4, and reopening at noon on May 5 in a new temporary configuration. A handout detailing the closure and shift is available to view or download here.

The eastbound I-4 exit ramp to South Street (Exit 82B) also is closing for 29 hours starting at midnight on May 6, and concluding at 5 a.m. the following morning on May 7. The continuous closure is necessary for bridge work in the area. (Detour Map)

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
