Old Canoe Creek Rd. at U.S. 192 to temporarily close

Three-week Road Closure and Detour, Old Canoe Creek Road at U.S. 192
Osceola County Motorists are advised that beginning Monday, and for approximately the next three weeks, the north side of Old Canoe Creek Road at State Road (S.R.) 500/U.S. 192 will be closed.
Old Canoe Creek Road can be accessed by either Commerce Center Drive or Brown Chapel Road and Fifth Street (see attached map). Access to the SunTrust Bank at Old Canoe Creek Road will be maintained.
Electronic message boards have been installed to inform motorists about the road closure, and detour signs will direct traffic.
The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to widen S.R. 500 (U.S. 192) from Aeronautical Drive to Budinger Avenue. Please note construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen events.
