Orange County On Monday, Oct. 16, traffic eastbound on State Road (S.R.) 15/Hoffner Avenue between S.R. 436/Semoran Boulevard and Reddit Road/Patch Road will move to the newly paved eastbound lane. Weather permitting, work will begin around 11 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 and be completed by 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16.

Construction will take place in the median and includes new directional median openings at April Lane and Gulfstream Bay Court/Distribution Court. Also, left turns will be prohibited at Sandra Lane and eventually, at Manatee Street.

Driveway entrance and exits between Semoran Boulevard and Reddit Road/Patch Road will be right turn only. Do not attempt to cross the median (construction zone) in undesignated areas.  Proceed to the nearest designated median opening and make a U-turn as needed.

Electronic message boards will inform motorists about the traffic shift. Please note construction schedules may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

The work is part of a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) project to widen and reconstruct S.R 15 (Hoffner Avenue) from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided roadway from Conway Road to north of Lee Vista Boulevard.
