Orange County Lane Closures

View project: S.R. 436 from U.S. 441 to Seminole County Line

• Sunday, May 10 to Thursday, May 14, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning: Motorists can expect alternating single- and double-lane closures in both directions of S.R. 436, between South Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441), and the Seminole County Line. Closures will shift between the inside and outside lanes as crews perform milling and resurfacing work.

  FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

• Wednesday, May 13, through Thursday, May 14, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will implement overnight closures of the westbound U.S. 441 exit ramp onto eastbound S.R. 436. These closures are necessary as crews perform milling and resurfacing work on the ramp.

  Detour Information:

  Motorists traveling westbound on U.S. 441 who wish to access eastbound S.R. 436 will be directed to turn right onto Sheeler Avenue and proceed north to the intersection with S.R. 436, where they may turn right to continue eastbound.

• Monday, May 11, through Thursday, May 14, from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.: Motorists can expect nighttime westbound and eastbound intermittent lane closures on Sandlake Road from Orange Blossom Trail to Orange Avenue for curb and sidewalk work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Tuesday, May 12, 24 hours:  Motorists should expect a detour and side street closure on Orange Blossom Trail at Lake Breeze for driveway reconstruction work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect westbound single lane closures on Clarcona Ocoee Road from Pine Hills Road to Hiawassee Road for sidewalk work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect southbound single lane closures on North Pine Hills Road from Clarcona Ocoee Road to Beggs Road for sidewalk work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Monday, May 11, through Friday, May 15, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Motorists should expect northbound single lane closures on U.S. 441 from S.R. 414 to Beggs Road for trail work. FDOT encourages the traveling public to drive, walk, and ride with caution and courtesy.

• Beginning April 30, continuous: Motorists can expect a traffic shift on U.S. 441 north of Beggs Road for trail work.

• Sunday, January 11th through Spring 2026, Continuous: Motorists can expect continuous outside westbound lane closure and traffic shift on Beggs Road and North Pine Hills Intersection for trail work.

• The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is implementing overnight closures of all lanes of Central Florida Parkway under Interstate 4 (I-4) on Thursday, May 14. The closures will start as early as 12 a.m. each night and reopen by 5 a.m. the same morning.

  During these closures, motorists exiting eastbound I-4 to Central Florida Parkway at Exit 71 will be limited to right turns only.

  This closure is necessary for an overhead concrete bridge deck pour for the extension of I-4 Express over Central Florida Parkway as part of the ongoing I-4 and Sand Lake Road (State Road (S.R.) 482) improvement project.

  NOTE: If crews are unable to complete the pour on Thursday, May 14, the same closure will be used the morning of Friday, May 15, during the same hours.

  To access Central Florida Parkway east of I-4:

  • From southbound Palm Parkway, turn left onto eastbound Daryl Carter Parkway. From there, turn left onto northbound International Drive, then turn left again onto Westwood Boulevard, continuing north to access Central Florida Parkway.
  • From Daryl Carter Parkway, take the entrance ramp to eastbound I-4, then take Exit 71 to access Central Florida Parkway.

  To access Central Florida Parkway west of I-4:

  • From eastbound I-4, take Exit 71 and stay in the right lane, turn right onto eastbound Central Florida Parkway, then turn right at the first traffic signal onto southbound Westwood Boulevard. From there, turn right onto International Drive, heading southwest before turning right again onto westbound Daryl Carter Parkway. From there, turn right on northbound Palm Parkway to access Central Florida Parkway.
  • From Central Florida Parkway east of I-4, turn left onto southbound Westwood Boulevard, then follow the same route as above.

  FDOT advises motorists to follow all posted detour signs. Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
