Marion County Lane Closures

View project: U.S. 27/U.S. 441 from north of SE 178th Place to south of SE 62nd Avenue

• Monday, Oct. 5, through Friday, Oct. 9, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.: Motorists are advised that there will be single-lane closures on U.S. 441 northbound and southbound from north of SE 178th Place in Summerfield to south of SE 62nd Avenue in Belleview for shoulder work and driveway reconstruction.

  FDOT encourages all roadway users to drive, walk and ride with caution and courtesy!

View project: S.R. 40 from NE 64th Avenue to west of SE 196 Terrace Road

• Sunday, Oct. 4, through Friday, Oct. 9, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night: Motorists are advised that there will be nightly single-lane closures eastbound and westbound on S.R. 40 from NE 64th Avenue in Silver Springs to SE 196th Terrace Road for installation of thermoplastic striping and rumble strips.

• Sunday, Oct. 4, through Friday, Oct. 9, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night: Motorists are advised that there will be nightly single-lane closures eastbound and westbound on S.R. 40 from 25th Avenue in Ocala to NE 64th Avenue in Silver Springs for installation of thermoplastic striping.

• Sunday, Oct. 4 through Friday, Oct. 9, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.: Motorists are advised that there will be nighttime single-lane closures on S.R. 200 and on SW 60th Avenue for construction work.

View project: I-75 Improvements from south of S.R. 44 to S.R. 200

• Sunday, Oct. 4, to Thursday, Oct. 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly: Motorists are advised that there will be lane closures on southbound  I-75 for construction of auxiliary lanes and roadway shoulder. 

• Monday, June 15, through June, 2027: Motorists are advised that the Southwest 66th Street bridge over I-75 is closed until mid-June 2027 for reconstruction. Motorists who wish to cross I-75 will instead be directed to use the SW 43rd Street Road bridge.

  Detour for motorists traveling east: Eastbound motorists may travel east on State Road 200 to SW 43rd Street Road, turn right, and proceed east across the SW 43rd Street Road bridge.

  Detour for motorists traveling west: Westbound motorists may travel north on SW 27th Avenue to Southwest 42nd Street and turn left, then travel west across the SW 43rd Street Road bridge and turn left on NW 40th Avenue or continue to State Road 200.
