Grant Bridge Closure
Traffic Impacts to Begin the Week of November 17
During the hours of construction, the Grant Road Bridge will need to be closed to thru traffic. This detour is necessary to maintain safety for all and decrease construction time. The detour route will direct traffic around the bridge using Babcock Street, Valkaria Road, Old Dixie Highway, 1st Street and U.S. 1.
The bridge will only be closed during the following days and times.
The project team will reopen the bridge after each work period.
Monday-Friday, 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Saturday, 8 p.m. - 6 a.m.
Sunday, 6 a.m. - 6 a.m. Monday

Monday - Saturday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., I-95 north and southbound single lane closures for construction of the new interchange.

Detour Information
In order to accommodate the reconstruction of the turn lanes at the northwest, southwest, southeast and northeast corners of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway (S.R.520) and S.R.A1A there will be the need to detour traffic around these areas of the construction. Please find below the planned detour routes and expected dates for each of the three corners affected.
Southwest corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R.A1A.
Beginning Thursday, August 1
There will be a continuous detour in place to accommodate the reconstruction of the continuous right turn lane at the southwest corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R.A1A. Westbound S.R. 520 traffic, looking to travel south on S.R. A1A, will be directed to turn south on Bay Street and follow it around behind the CVS where S.R.A1A southbound access will be available.

Beginning early September
There will be a continuous detour in place to accommodate the reconstruction of the continuous right turn lane at the northwest corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R.A1A. Southbound S.R.A1A traffic looking to travel west on W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, will be directed to turn west, just before the intersection, on to Columbia Lane and follow it west to N. Banana River Road south where W. Cocoa Beach Causeway westbound access will be available.
Northeast corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R.A1A.
Beginning in early November
There will be a continuous detour in place to accommodate the reconstruction of the continuous right turn lane at the northeast corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R.A1A. Westbound W. Cocoa Beach Causeway traffic looking to travel north on S.R. A1A, will be directed to take Ocean Beach Boulevard northbound to Columbia Lane westbound where northbound S.R A1A will be accessible.
Southeast corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R. A1A
Beginning in early November
There will be a detour in place between 11 p.m.-6 a.m. to accommodate the reconstruction of the right turn lane at the southeast corner of W. Cocoa Beach Causeway and S.R.A1A. Northbound S.R.A1A traffic looking to travel east on W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, will be directed to turn before the intersection onto Marion Lane eastbound to Ocean Beach Boulevard northbound where W. Cocoa Beach Causeway eastbound will be accessible.

Tuesday, October 1st, 2019 to Saturday, January 4th, 2020
Monday -Friday, 3 a.m.-6 p.m. Single lane closures in both eastbound and westbound directions can be expected on S.R. 50 (Cheney Highway) for roadwork.
S.R. 50 eastbound to I-95 southbound on-ramp closed
Monday -Friday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m. S.R. 50 eastbound to the I-95 southbound on ramp will be closed to accommodate construction activities.
Traffic looking to head southbound on I-95 from eastbound S.R. 50 will be directed to follow the signs west of I-95 where you will be directed to make a U-turn to travel S.R. 50 westbound to I-95 where the southbound on-ramp will be available.

Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 to Tuesday, December 31st, 2019
S.R. A1A (Miramar Avenue)
Continuous northbound and southbound inside lane closures through early 2020.
To safely accommodate construction activities, there will be alternating continuous lane closures throughout the duration of the project. One lane in each direction will always remain open. Business and residential access will be maintained.
Traffic Shift
The project team has completed the first phase of construction and shifted live traffic to the inside lanes.

Eastbound Beachline Expressway/SR 528 between Jim Creek and Long Bluff (milepost 32-33) Night-time single lane closure, 7 p.m. to 9 a.m., Monday night, December 9 through Saturday morning, December 21.
Eastbound Beachline Expressway/SR 528 between SR 407 and I-95 (milepost 36-42) Continuous day-time shoulder closure, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Westbound Beachline Expressway/SR 528 between Industry Road and I-95 (milepost 45-42) Day-time single right lane closure, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday, December 9 through Friday, December 20.
Westbound Beachline Expressway/SR 528 between US-1 and Industry Road (milepost 46-45) Day-time single right lane closure and auxiliary lane closure, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday, December 9 through Friday, December 20.
Westbound Beachline Expressway/SR 528 exit ramp to northbound Industry Rd. (Exit 45-B), Night-time full ramp closure, 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday night, December 16 to Tuesday morning, December 17 and Tuesday night, December 17 to Wednesday morning, December 18 for paving operations.
Detour Information:Westbound Beachline Expressway/SR 528 traffic wishing to access northbound Industry Rd. will be directed to exit at Clear Lake Rd. (Exit 45-A), travel south on Industry Rd. and then make a U-turn to continue north on Industry Rd.
