Widening on US 17/92 in Seminole County [240196-1] View Project
  • Friday, August 7th, 2020 to Saturday, August 15th, 2020

    Monday, Aug. 10, through Saturday, Aug. 15, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists are advised of alternating single-lane closures during daytime hours in both directions of travel along U.S. 17-92 at various locations within the project limits for road widening construction.

  • Thursday, August 13th, 2020 to Saturday, August 22nd, 2020

    Monday, Aug. 17, through Saturday, Aug. 22, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists are advised of alternating single-lane closures during daytime hours in both directions of travel along U.S. 17-92 at various locations within the project limits for road widening construction.

  • Friday, August 14th, 2020 to Wednesday, August 19th, 2020

    Tuesday, Aug. 18, through Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:  Motorists are advised of single-lane closures in the inside (left) through lane along northbound U.S. 17-92 and the inside (left) through lane along southbound U.S. 17-92 at the Tropic Park Drive/Eslinger Way intersection. These lane closures allow for paving operations and will result in road closures along Tropic Park Drive/Eslinger Way. The following detours will be in place:

    ·       Northbound U.S. 17-92 traffic will be transitioned to the outside (right) through lane. 

    ·       Southbound U.S. 17-92 traffic will be transitioned to the outside (right) through lane. 

    ·       Motorists traveling westbound on Tropic Park Drive wanting to turn left onto southbound U.S. 17-92 will be directed to turn right onto northbound U.S. 17-92, travel one block to the median crossing and make a U-turn to continue on southbound U.S. 17-92. 

    ·       Motorists traveling eastbound on Eslinger Way wanting to turn left onto northbound U.S. 17-92 will be directed to turn right onto southbound U.S. 17-92, travel to the median crossing and make a U-turn to continue on northbound U.S. 17-92.

    ·       The northbound left turn lane heading to Eslinger Way will be closed. Motorists wanting to turn onto westbound Eslinger Way will be directed north one block to the median crossing and make a U-turn to travel one block back to Eslinger Way.

    ·       The southbound left turn lane heading to Tropic Park Drive will be closed. Motorists wanting to turn onto eastbound Tropic Park Drive will be directed south one block to the median crossing and make a U-turn to travel one block back to Tropic Park Drive.  

  • Friday, August 14th, 2020 to Thursday, August 20th, 2020

    Tuesday, Aug. 18, through Thursday, Aug. 20, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists are advised of single-lane closures along Ronald Reagan Boulevard in the eastbound inside (left) through lane and the westbound inside (left) left turn lane at the U.S. 17-92 intersection. These closures allow for traffic separator construction.

  • Friday, August 14th, 2020 to Friday, August 21st, 2020

    Thursday, Aug. 20, through Saturday, Aug. 22, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:  Motorists are advised that County Home Road will be closed between U.S. 17-92 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard for paving operations. The following detours will be in place:

    ·       Motorists traveling southbound on U.S. 17-92 wanting to turn left onto eastbound County Home Road will be directed south to Ronald Reagan Boulevard. Motorists will be directed to turn left onto Ronald Reagan Boulevard and travel one mile to the County Home Road/Ronald Reagan Boulevard intersection. Motorists will be able to turn left onto County Home Road to access all driveways along County Home Road.

    ·       Motorists traveling eastbound on County Home Road approaching U.S. 17-92 wanting to continue eastbound will be directed to turn right onto southbound U.S. 17-92 and follow the detour described above.

    ·       Motorists traveling westbound on Ronald Reagan Boulevard wanting to turn right onto County Home Road will be directed to travel one mile to U.S. 17-92 and turn right onto northbound U.S. 17-92 traveling back to County Home Road.

  • Thursday, August 13th, 2020 to Tuesday, August 18th, 2020

    Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Motorists are advised of a partial lane closure along westbound State Road (S.R.) 419 in the right turn lane at the U.S. 17-92 intersection. This closure allows for storm drain installation. Workers will maintain 100 feet within the lane for cars to queue and turn right.

    9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17: Motorists are advised of a sidewalk closure and lane closures in the right turn lane, outside (right) lane and center lane on westbound S.R. 46 from Monroe Road to west of Elder Road for removal of an electronic message board sign. Motorists can use the inside (left) lane to proceed westbound on S.R. 46.
