  • Monday, February 10th, 2020 to Friday, September 18th, 2020

    Feb. 10 - Sept. 18, 2020: Northeast 21st Street will be closed between Northeast 36th Avenue and Northeast 38th Avenue to install utilities and conduct other work related to the widening of Northeast 36th Avenue. Drivers will be asked to access eastbound 21st Street from Northeast 39th Avenue. Detours will be posted on signs, and flaggers may be present to assist drivers.

  • Thursday, June 4th, 2020 to Monday, June 15th, 2020

    Saturday, June 13 - Sunday, June 14: Northeast 36th Avenue will be closed between Northeast 21st Street and Northeast 24th Street so construction crews can install beams on the new bridge over the CSX rail line. Detours will be in effect. The closures will begin at 7 a.m. and end at 7 p.m. each day, but businesses in the construction zone will have access to their facilities during those times. Motorists heading south on Northeast 36th Avenue will be directed to turn right (west) on Northeast 24th Street, then left (south) on Northeast 25th Avenue to get to Northeast 14th Street or State Road 40. Motorists who want to go north on 36th Avenue are likewise asked to instead go north on 25th Avenue and then east on Northeast 24th Street.

  • Monday, June 8th, 2020 to Thursday, June 11th, 2020

    Monday, June 8 - Wednesday, June 10: Crews will close a single lane of Northeast 36th Avenue from Northeast 19th Place to Northeast 21st Street to build drainage structures. The closures will occur each night from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., but northbound and southbound motorists will still be able to use the remaining open lane on an alternating basis. Please use caution in the work zone.
