The purpose of this project is to increase safety, improve traffic flow, and reduce the number of areas where vehicles cross paths by modifying the open median to a bi-directional configuration at the intersection of Garden Street (S.R. 406) and Christian Court in Brevard County. This change will continue to allow northbound and southbound right turns, as well as eastbound and westbound left turns onto Christian Court and St. John's Plaza driveway, respectively. Northbound and southbound left turns onto Garden Street will be prohibited at this intersection. These improvements were developed following an intersection study completed in September 2019.
