The purpose of the project is to improve sidewalk connectivity along State Road (S.R.) A1A from Shearwater Parkway to south of Pineda Causeway (S.R. 404). The project proposes to construct new 6-foot-wide sidewalk to fill gaps along the west side of S.R. A1A. Necessary drainage improvements are included.

Together with project 447150-2, this project will help to enhance pedestrian connectivity and mobility along S.R. A1A from S.R. 518 to the Pineda Causeway.
