About

The purpose of this project is to increase bicycle and pedestrian safety by adding raised concrete pedestrian mid-block crossings within the median on State Road (S.R.) A1A (Miramar Avenue) at various locations from US 192 (5th Avenue) to north of S.R. 518 (Eau Gallie Boulevard). All of the new pedestrian crossings will be treated with new signs, crosswalks, curb ramps and pavement markings. Sidewalk additions and modifications will occur and lighting will be added at the mid-block crossing locations. The project will also include minor drainage work along with transit stop coordination and possible improvements. This project will not require right of way acquisition.
