About

This is one part of a two-part project to improve the area around the State Road 200/Interstate 75 interchange in Ocala. This part of the project is designed to resurface State Road (S.R.) 200/Southwest College Road from east of Southwest 60th Avenue to east of Southwest 38th Court, approximately 3 miles. Work also includes upgrading sidewalks and ramps to current Americans with Disabilities Act requirements as well as curb, gutter and signalization improvements. The contractor will maintain access to businesses and residences. Drivers can expect uneven lanes during construction as the contractor places layers of new asphalt.

Along with this project, FDOT is widening and adding turn lanes at the Interstate 75 interchange to improve traffic flow. The two projects combined total $8 million. More information on that project can be found by searching for 435659-2.
