About
This project will reconstruct State Road (S.R.) 48 (West Belt Avenue) from a two- to three-lane road to a five-lane road from County Road (C.R.) 609 to C.R. 475 (Main Street). The improvements to the corridor consist of drainage improvements including new piping, inlets and outfalls on both sides of the road to four new ponds. The intersections at C.R. 609, West Street, and C.R. 475 will be improved with new signal poles, crosswalks, pedestrian signal heads, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps and detection pads. Additionally, bicycle lanes and sidewalks will be constructed along both sides of S.R. 48.
