About

The purpose of the project is to resurface nearly 7 miles of U.S. 27 from the Levy County line (County Road (C.R.) 316) to C.R. 326. Drainage improvements are also included as is adding a right turn lane from southbound U.S. 27 to Northwest 160th Avenue.

Access to businesses and residences will be maintained by the contractor. Lane closures may occur anytime. Drivers can expect uneven lanes during construction; usually, when the contractor places layers of new asphalt.

Electronic message boards and other signage will be posted to provide advance lane closure notice to drivers and to direct traffic around work. Law enforcement may also assist as-needed. Please pay attention and use caution when passing through a construction zone.
