About
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is milling and resurfacing State Road 25/U.S. 27 from O'Brien Road in Groveland to Arlington Ridge Boulevard (south of County Road 48) in Leesburg. Additional improvements include updating signs and drainage features along the corridor.

This project will also address operational and safety concerns at U.S. 27 and Highland Lakes Boulevard by changing the full median opening to a southbound directional opening. Southbound left turns onto Highland Lakes Boulevard and northbound right turns out of Highland Lakes will still be allowed; however, southbound left turns will be eliminated. To compensate for the access change, a designated northbound directional median opening for U-turns will be constructed just north of this intersection.
