About

This project will rehabilitate an existing FDOT drainage ditch that carries water from U.S. 1 to the Indian River Lagoon.  To assist the State Road (S.R.) 528 widening project (407402-2), this project also includes the re-construction of historic drainage pipes from the infield ponds at the intersection of S.R. 528 and U.S. 1 to drain the ponds westward, under U.S. 1 and the Florida East Coast Railway.  A pond is also being constructed for compensatory treatment for S.R. 528, near the U.S. 1 ditch.
