Motorists can expect daytime construction work and periodic nighttime lane closures. Some work will take place behind barrier wall.
Left turns at Southeast 10th Avenue and at the SSV Professional Center will also be periodic. When it is closed, motorists will be directed to make a U-turn at the Southeast 31st Street intersection.
Electronic message boards and other signage will be placed in advance to alert motorists of any upcoming closures and to help direct traffic.
For more information, please see the flier below under Project Files.
The goal of this project is to resolve the flooding issue on State Road 25/500/U.S. 27/301/441 (South Pine Avenue) by replacing the existing storm sewer pipe and drainage structures from Southeast 10th Avenue to Southeast 31st Street. Work will also include milling and resurfacing, roadway widening, reconstructing curb and gutters, installing sidewalks, upgrading signing and pavement markings, and updating underground components of lighting and traffic signals.
