The construction of Phase II South includes approximately 17.2 miles of expanded commuter rail service between the Sand Lake Road station in Orange County and the Poinciana station in Osceola County on the existing Central Florida Rail Corridor (CFRC).  Improvements will provide a safe and efficient transportation alternative for motorists, enhance safety features along the corridor, and improve grade crossings for train, pedestrian, and vehicular traffic.

Lane Closures
  • Monday, October 9th, 2017 to Tuesday, October 31st, 2017

    Monday - Saturday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., motorists can expect daytime, intermittent lane closures on westbound Old Tampa Highway near Shingle Creek. A flagging operation will be in effect. Please use caution in the area.

    Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., intermittent short term shoulder and single lane closures with flagging operations are possible along 4th Street and Pine Street for concrete sidewalk and curb work.

     

  • Monday, October 16th, 2017 to Monday, October 23rd, 2017

    Pleasant Hill Road Closure and Detour: 12 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, through 3 a.m. Monday, Oct. 23. Pleasant Hill Road will be closed in both directions at the railroad crossing between Old Tampa Highway and Clay Street to replace the crossing. A detour will be in effect using Orange Blossom Trail, Poinciana Boulevard and U.S. 192. Please see alert below for more information.
