Work to be done includes pavement widening, drainage systems improvements, bridge widening, bridge replacement, retaining walls, highway lighting, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) modifications, median barriers, signing and pavement markings, signalization, milling, and resurfacing.
This project reconstructs the I-95 interchange leading to and from I-4 and U.S. 92, which will increase mobility and connectivity. It will also increase safety for merging, exiting and through-traffic. The project will eliminate a left-side merge ramp onto I-95 from U.S. 92, just a short distance to the south. Additional lanes will be constructed along I-95 allowing vehicles traveling through the area to continue in dedicated lanes, and vehicles entering and exiting I-95 to be separated into dedicated entrance and exit lanes.

New Traffic Pattern: Motorists are advised of a new traffic pattern beginning as early as overnight Wednesday, Feb. 28, to Thursday morning, March 1. The new pattern will affect I-4 eastbound traffic heading to I-95 northbound. Please pay attention to signage and use caution in the area.
I-4 eastbound to I-95 northbound ramp closure Sunday and Monday (if needed), 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., for paving. Traffic will be detoured to Williamson Boulevard north to U.S. 92.
I-95 northbound to I-4 westbound ramp closure Wednesday and Thursday (if needed), 10 p.m. - 6 a.m., for paving operations. Traffic will be detoured to U.S. 92 westbound to the I-4 westbound ramp.
Monday - Saturday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. - 6 a.m., I-95 northbound & southbound lane closures from U.S. 92 to south of I-4.
