240837-1 SR 40 Widening from SR 11 to Cone road in Volusia County

The project is to widen SR 40 from the existing two lanes to four lanes, from SR 11 to Cone Road. The Length of the project is approximately 7.1 Miles. Mill and resurface existing roadway to serve as westbound travel lanes. Construct new roadway for eastbound travel lanes. Construct SR 11 intersection. Replace three existing bridges. Add a wildlife crossing box culvert (8' x 19'). Drainage modifications, stormwater treatment facilities, extend and/or replace existing culverts, and ditches and interceptor ditches. 12-foot wide, paved, multi-use trail on the south side of the road.

“A public information meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Oasis Church located 85 South Tymber Creek Road in Ormond Beach.
The meeting will be an open house from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.”
