The project includes the realignment of CR 46A from existing SR 46 to existing CR 46A at Arundel Way in Lake County East. The proposed typical section of the realignment of CR 46A is a two-lane rural arterial. As part of the CR 46A realignment, a portion of existing SR 46 is also proposed to be reconstructed to a four-lane rural arterial, and a smaller portion of existing SR 46 to a four-lane urban arterial.
