FDOT hosts meeting to talk about future of the Courtenay Parkway corridor

 

Brevard County - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have a public kick-off meeting to talk about a corridor planning and concept development study along State Road (SR) 3 (Courtenay Parkway) from Fortenberry Road to Grant Road/Smith Road, in Brevard County.

The study will open discussion about the corridor’s growth and its future use. The planning study develops and evaluates alternative corridor improvement concepts to support a multimodal approach to providing for future transportation needs.

The meeting will be at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, at First Baptist Church of Merritt Island located at 140 Magnolia Avenue in Merritt Island, Florida 32952.  There will be a presentation at 6:30 p.m. The meeting ends at 8:00 p.m.
